Amidst a pandemic, People of Color (POC) witnessed the importance of supporting one another more than ever. With so many unanswered questions, we find comfort in our family and friends for support. We encourage the community to lean on one another in order to stand strongly together. We should actively be compromising, hearing, listening, respecting, and remembering history. We want to remind the community that you are never alone with whatever you are going through. You have a strong support system that you can depend on. Our 2022 Conference Theme: Winds of Change Our theme this year embodies the idea of adapting to new changes throughout uncertainty. The past several years have undoubtedly been stressful to everyone in some way, and the Covid-19 pandemic has essentially affected everyone to some degree in the past and the present, thus changing many plans and challenging what was once considered “normal.” As such, we felt this theme would be suitable for this year’s conference with the intentions of providing a support system for our Chinese American (and Asian American) community and to empower our attendees with engaging workshops and fun activities. With the theme in mind, we want to remind the community that you are never alone with whatever you are going through. Everyone undergoes different changes but these changes will never divide us.
