OUR FOUNDING HISTORY

It began with a shared vision. Ten individuals came together with a clear purpose: to connect Chinese Americans and those interested in Chinese culture across the Midwest. Through an annual conference, participants from diverse universities and shared cultural backgrounds were given a platform to engage in meaningful dialogue, celebrate their identities, and reconnect with values and traditions that may have been lost or previously unexplored. The Midwest Chinese-American Student Association’s inaugural conference successfully united students from 10 universities, marking the beginning of a growing legacy rooted in community, culture, and connection.
